Master impressionist debuts her latest celebrity voices on the Stern Show
Rachel Butera was back on the Stern Show Wednesday morning and she brought some new voices with her. The pro impressionist, who won the Howard Stern Staff Impressions Contest in 2010, recently helped Sal and Richard make an all A-list phony phone call that featured the voices of Amy Schumer, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Silverman, and even Dame Judi Dench all calling an internet radio show and telling the host about their periods.
As a huge Stern fan, Rachel can also do a spot-on Wendy the Slow Adult and was able to go back and forth with Howard, talking about eating out of a dumpster and what it’s like when she shits her pants.
With her undeniable talent, Howard asked what Rachel’s dream job in show business would be. While she would love to be on “Saturday Night Live” and has even submitted material to the late night series, Rachel wants to do more than just voices.
“I don’t want to just be an impressionist,” Rachel told Howard, adding that she also does stand-up. “I’m ready for TV.”
Television is exactly where you can see Rachel next when she appears on “First Impressions,” a game show hosted by Freddie Prinze Jr. and Dana Carvey, who serves as the show’s expert-in-residence. While she’s anything but amateur, Rachel will compete against other up-and-coming impressionists in various voice challenges with the winner taking home $10,000. Tom Arnold will be a celebrity guest on Rachel’s episode.
“First Impressions” airs Tuesday, June 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET on USA network.
