In July 2009, Robin Quivers shared a startling revelation on the air: her breasts weren’t DDs like she had always thought, they were in fact several sizes bigger. Robin had been professionally measured and was told to start buying GG bras.
Howard wondered how that could be, considering his co-host had already undergone breast reduction surgery. “Good lord knows,” Robin agreed. “They must have been an X [before].”
Always the good team player, Robin donated her old DD bra to the staff lab for some testing, resulting in the memory-searing images found below:
First, Jason Kaplan took a turn trying on the black brassiere that was (up until that point) used to holding a far less hairy rack of nipples. His facial expression said it all …
Next up, Artie Lange took a turn in the legendary boob holders, noting: “I’m not Calista Flockhart, but I’m smaller than Jason.”
It was at that point that Stern Show Executive Producer Gary Dell’Abate began bringing in potatoes to find out just how much the bra could really hold. Gary ran out of potatoes after stuffing 5 pounds worth into the bra. He blamed HowardTV producer Doug Goodstein, who had sent the rest of the stash home with staffers earlier.
As punishment, Doug was forced to get in the bra himself and, with the addition of some extra potatoes, was able to fit a total of 10 pounds into the bra.
