RIP Rapping Granny, Your Fruity Nutcake

As if the blizzard wasn’t enough, something else was blanketing the Stern Show this morning: pure sorrow.

We lost another good one, folks – the great Rapping Granny Fruity Nutcake.

She first burst onto our scene in 1999. She didn’t appear all that frequently, preferring to keep her performances rare and special.

She roasted Ronnie ‘the Limo Driver’ Mund in 2006 and even rode the Sybian – twice!

Her signature clothing style was a leotard (covering Depends adult diapers) and her rapping style was just a little off of the beat, like any true innovator.

We’ve lost a few great friends in the past year – Eric the Actor, Joan Rivers, David Brenner – and we’re really hoping the carnage stops.

Rest in Peace, Fruity Nutcake, we will miss you.
