Richard Christy’s Wedding Gift

Howard presented Richard Christy with a cash wedding gift, as he won’t be attending: “Now it’s off my to-do list [so] don’t bother me. That’s for you. I love you. Good luck. I hope your wife loves you as much as I do.”

Robin laughed: “Oh god! I hope she loves him a bit more.”

But Howard insisted: “I have real love for this guy. I like him. You’re a good man. It’s a bar of soap.”

Richard was very appreciative–but just as wary: “Is it a gift certificate for a shower?”
