Girlfriend Trouble: Ronnie’s Hang Up

Howard played a clip from yesterday’s Wrap-Up Show in which Ronnie the Limo Driver questioned his girlfriend’s intentions: “I have this hang up: why is she with me? [But she says] she loves me, that’s why she’s with me.”

Howard thought Ronnie was delusional: “He’s nobody, you know what I mean…if a woman ever really loved someone, it’s you. You’re not famous. You’re not a rich man.”

Ronnie came in to say he knew he was wrong: “I understand that but I still have that hang up because of the shit my father went through, ok…it’s really something that’s in my f”ing head. I’m sorry. It’s got nothing to do with you.”

Howard continued to wonder what Stephanie could be after: “What do you have? She’s not a gold-digger…you’ve got nothing.”

Robin agreed: “What has she gained? Are you secretly rich?”

Ronnie bristled (“Maybe I am.”) and later clarified: “I didn’t say she was in it for money or whatever.” If it wasn’t money, Robin was baffled: “What could she be in it for?” Howard joked that it was fame: “He does have a lot of Twitter followers.”
