Gary came in to the studio to admit to a rumor that his wife serves his children before him at the dinner table, despite the fact that, as Howard pointed out, he put the food there. Howard was pissed: “The kids get to pick [over] the chicken before you?” Howard said his mother would never be so presumptuous, and Artie commended subservient wives, promising his (admittedly hypothetical) wife that she’d never need a watch, because he’ll nail a clock above the stove in the kitchen where she will spend most of her time.
