Artie Bets Memphis & Loses Big Time

Howard started off the show asking Artie if he bet on last night’s NCAA men’s basketball championship game, so Artie said he had a new bookie (since his last bookie still owes him three quarters of his Super Bowl winnings) and another name of a player who’s f’ed his bets: Mario Chalmers. Artie put $10,000 on Memphis in the Final Four and won, but then let $5,000 of his winnings ride on the Championship round. Kansas’ Mario Chalmers hit a three point shot in the final two seconds to send the game into overtime – where Kansas proceeded to whip Memphis – so Artie lost big.
