‘Roastwriter’ Volunteers For a Tongue-Lashing

Neil Berliner called in to defend his role as the promoter of a recent comedy gig Artie did that has yet to pay him, saying he wasn’t the “producer” of the event. Neil claimed he worked as an “unpaid volunteer,” so the venue owes Artie – not him. Neil explained that the venue had a “miscommunication” with the agency who sold tickets to the event. An irritated Howard then mandated that Neil tell Artie how much money he’s owed (and when he’ll get it) by 3pm today.
