High Pitch Mike and Robin Quivers Square Off

During the commercial break, Mike came back into the studio and claimed some of his animosity toward Robin stemmed from how she allegedly treated him when he was an intern 10 years ago. Mike explained that, to him, while Howard has always treated everyone affiliated with the show with respect, Robin was the opposite, although he couldn’t come up with any specific instances to prove his point.

Because of Mike’s lack of proof to backup his assertions against Robin, she said she believed his feelings toward her were a result of her not inviting him to the party she held last month. Mike then acknowledged his lack of an invitation to Robin’s get-together was a part of his anger with her, and proceeded to apologize for some of the remarks he made at her expense.
