Howard mentioned that Ross Zapin was on vacation recently in Anguilla and said that he got reception on his SIRIUS system even though he was outside of the United States. Howard then commented that, with the amount of vacation time Ross has been taking lately, he doesn’t feel like he should be criticized for not doing shows on some Fridays in the future. However, Gary informed Howard that Ross hadn’t taken off as many days as he claimed and that Ross’ recent trek to Anguilla was actually his first time off since his wedding last summer. Following Gary’s remarks, Howard explained that Ross and Gary are friends and that Gary goes out of his way to stick up for Ross whenever he can.
