Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner, Jr. Wants Howard in Jail?
Howard started the show today by reading a news article about how Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner, Jr. (R, WI) is proposing a bill to throw the “biggest offenders of indecency,” meaning Howard, in jail. He says they should face criminal prosecution for violating the FCC’s indecency rules, when they’ve still not defined exactly what is indecent! This scares the crap out of Howard and he wants to get out NOW. He’s leaving in 8 months and they’re still trying to bring him down.
Robin said she knew they’d get around to this eventually. Howard said he never got into this business for the money, he just wanted to be a funny entertainer, and contrary to popular thought, he doesn’t want to bring down society. He said his health is starting to suffer and that he’s depressed now because of all of this. He begged Infinity to let him go, he doesn’t want to go to jail because of something he said on the air and told Robin that he’s not just crying wolf here, this is actually happening. Howard said that one day he’ll write a book about what is going on right now.
