AUDIO: Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl Reflect on Lessons Learned From COVID-19 in Team Up Track ‘Eazy Sleazy’

Two of rock’s most enduring frontmen joined forces on a song about the eventual end of the pandemic.
Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger just released “Eazy Sleazy,” a track he wrote about the light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel and recorded with the help of Foo Fighters virtuoso Dave Grohl.
The song lyrics find humor in several aspects of the post-pandemic world, from the banality of TikTok and teleconferencing to the absurdity of vaccine conspiracy theories, while the video itself shows the superstars rocking out in the safety of their own homes.
“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism,” Jagger said in the caption for the YouTube video (above). “Thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this.”
“It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir Mick means to me,” Grohl added in a statement. “It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier……and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!!”
“Eazy Sleazy” is Jagger’s second quarantine tune, following last year’s Rolling Stone offering “Living in a Ghost Town”—the band’s first new song in nearly a decade. Foo Fighters, meanwhile, dropped their new album “Medicine at Midnight” in February. Dave and the band also made their long-awaited Stern Show return that very same month.
