Howard has long made known his love of power-pop rockers Cheap Trick and the band recently returned the favor with a live performance of John Lennon’s “Gimme Some Truth” exclusively for the Stern Show. “I am lucky, I love Cheap Trick. The idea they would dedicate a song to me or even know my name, that’s amazing to me,” he said Tuesday before heaping more praise on the band. “That’s a great Lennon song for them … the boys have never sounded better.”
