Richard Christy’s Chiefs Hat Is Headed out of Town for Chris Wilding’s Addition
Plus, Michael Rapaport and Will Murray Respond to Gary Dell’Abate Backing Out
February 9, 2022The saga continues.
One day after Stern Show executive producer Gary Dell’Abate pulled out of defiling Richard Christy’s prized Kansas City Chiefs hat, several staffers and even a celebrity have stepped in.
While Chris Wilding was willing to pitch in, since he’s currently out of town with family, he was uncertain about logistics. “I don’t know how they’re going to get that hat to me,” he admitted. “I’m here with my mother and my grandmother … it’s a very tiny apartment so I don’t know what Gary’s going on about, it’s going to be awkward for me to do this here.”
Thankfully, staffer Jonathan Blitt, who has been charged with transporting the hat to the homes of participating colleagues, was unfazed. “When there’s a will there’s a way. I’ll get a car and I’ll drive … Or I could get on a plane—whatever it takes, I’ll get that hat to Chris,” he assured Howard before addressing his colleague. “I can keep your grandmother and your mother occupied while you go and do your thing.”
Jason Kaplan, who has already committed to contributing to the hat from the comforts of his chicken coop, revealed that another staffer would be joining him. “I just got alerted that Will Murray says he will come over to my chicken coop and also cum on the hat,” he announced before insisting they’d each be doing the act solo. “I’ll do it first and then I’ll give him a call and say, ‘Come over.’”
“I’m not touching the hat, but if it’s in the coop then I’ll shoot a load on it,” Will clarified before taking a shot at Gary. “[It’s] part of the job.”
“What about the chickens?” Howard wondered with a laugh.
Not one to pass on a chance to slam Gary, actor and rival Michael Rapaport broke away from filming his next project to give his own critique by way of song. “Howard, I warned you, I begged you, I told you that this man will consistently betray you,” he said at one point over the music. “He put his monkey knife in your back—again.”
