Jenna Ortega is the embodiment of creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky in the official trailer for Tim Burton’s Addams Family-inspired spinoff show “Wednesday,” debuting next month on Netflix.

The “Scream” and “Studio 666” starlet plays Wednesday Addams on the comedy-horror series, which follows the Addams family’s only daughter as she enrolls in a boarding school for outcasts and monsters, investigates a beastly murder spree, grapples with newly acquired psychic powers, and seeks to unravel a supernatural mystery that has affected her family for decades.

Wednesday is aided in her quests by her trusty Uncle Fester, played by repeat Stern Show guest and longtime “Saturday Night Live” star Fred Armisen. “I like to travel incognito,” Armisen’s character says before inviting his niece to ride in the sidecar to his cow-colored motorcycle.

Created by legendary director (and Stern Show veteran) Tim Burton, Alfred Gough, and Miles Millar, “Wednesday” co-stars Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Wednesday’s parents Gomez and Morticia Addams, Isaac Ordonez as her brother Pugsley, and Christina Ricci, George Burcea, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, and Gwendoline Christie, among others.

“Wednesday” debuts Wednesday, Nov. 23 on Netflix.
