VIDEO: Tan Mom Takes on Taxes, Washington, and the Sun in New Campaign Ad for U.S. Senate
“Will the sun still come out tomorrow?” the Wack Packer asks
Tan Mom took her tanned talents to the beach in a brand-new campaign ad for the Wack Packer’s upcoming bid for U.S. Senate.
“This is real. We didn’t put this together,” Howard told listeners before playing a few clips on Monday morning’s show.
“Will the sun still come out tomorrow?” Tan Mom, a.k.a. Patricia Krentcil, asks while frolicking on the beach with two of her besties. “Probably not with global warming.”
While the nearly-two-minute-long spot is more style than substance, Tan Mom does touch upon newsworthy topics ranging from the tax code and LGBTQ rights to dysfunction in the U.S. House and war in the Middle East. And though she didn’t have much to say about national defense, Tan Mom did share a hot tip about defending one’s skin from the sun.
“The best advice I can give is always use sunscreen,” she declared while massaging lotion into a man’s chest.
“Well, that’s an effective ad,” Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers said after hearing it.
Howard agreed, jokingly suggesting that incumbent U.S. Senator Rick Scott—up for reelection in 2024—was “up for a real challenge against Tan Mom.”
