“The first thing he asked me was, ‘Where’s Beetlejuice?’” Stern Show staffer recalls of Chappelle
Netflix’s recent live premiere of “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady” was a star-studded event with high profile attendees including Kevin Hart, Kim Kardashian, and the Stern Show’s own Gary Dell’Abate. On Monday, the executive producer spoke of just how vicious the jokes about the retired N.F.L. quarterback were. “They went for almost everything,” he remarked to Howard.
But what really blew Gary away was the party he attended at Netflix co-C.E.O. Ted Sarandos’ palatial estate. “This was the sickest event that I’ve ever been a part of,” he revealed before recalling how even the valets were next level. “We got into the car and there was a valet on each side and both of them pulled out the seatbelt and moved it over to hand it to us … it was like synchronized swimming.”
In addition to Sarandos, Gary got to mingle with the likes of Sarah Silverman, Pauly Shore, and Dave Chappelle. “He gives me a handshake and a hug,” the staffer said before noting the comedian wanted to know about a certain Wack Packer. “The first thing he asked me was, ‘Where’s Beetlejuice?’”
