Wack Pack expert Shuli Egar updates Howard on two fan-favorites
The Stern Show’s resident Wack Pack expert, Shuli Egar, proved once again why he’s one of the best in the business on Wednesday with a new report for Howard on Mark the Bagger.
Mark was first brought to the Stern Show studio in 2006 by members of the Bloodhound Gang and quickly became beloved by fans for his distinctive voice and candid stories about bagging groceries and living with his mom.
Recently, though, Mark moved out of his mother’s home and is no longer working in a grocery store. Shuli visited the Wack Packer at his new residence, a two-story house broken up into several small dorm rooms, to see how he was spending his days.
Mark showed off his private room but admitted he spends quite a bit of time at a local bar with his manager. He brought Shuli to the watering hole and began drinking early in the day, downing a few beers and a shot of liquor before 11 a.m.
“It’s a whole new guy when he gets sauced up,” Shuli told Howard, playing tape of Mark singing an a cappella rendition of Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” (below).
The outing was cut short when Mark had to go home to lie down and that’s where Shuli noticed some spots of blood on his bed sheets caused by excessive scratching.
“His apartment had bedbugs,” the Stern Show staffer told Howard he later discovered. And as a result, Mark has since moved out of his room and back in with his mom.
That wasn’t even the most shocking Wack Pack news of the day, though.
As listeners may remember, Bigfoot has spent the better part of 10 years butting heads with two squatters who refuse to leave his house—but circumstances have reportedly changed.
“Bigfoot dropped a major bombshell – one of the squatters died in his bathroom,” Howard revealed.
Despite the tragic news, Bigfoot seems unfazed by the incident and told Shuli he wasn’t quite sure what happened.
