January 22, 2019Hollywood’s best and brightest stars gathered recently at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., for “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell,” a celebration of the life, music, and legacy of iconic Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 52.
Stern Show superfan Jimmy Kimmel hosted the event, which raised money for Chris’s charity and featured performances and appearances from the biggest names in rock and roll, including Metallica, Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Adam Levine, and Peter Frampton, among others, as well as the surviving members of Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Audioslave.
