EXCLUSIVE: Bear Hands Debut New Music Video ‘Clean Up California’

Indie rock band Bear Hands debuted their new music video for “Clean Up California” exclusively on HowardStern.com Monday afternoon, just as frontman Dylan Rau sat down with Jon Hein, Gary Dell’Abate, and Rahsaan Rogers on the Wrap Up Show.

The video’s ethereal song, found on Bear Hand’s new album “Fake Tunes,” matches the music video’s simple, slo-mo tracking shot of a single skateboarder coasting downhill at night guided only by the headlights of cars passing by.

The release of “Fake Tunes” (the band’s fourth studio album) marks a few firsts for Bear Hands. It’s the first album they’ve recorded in Los Angeles and their first offering following the departure of guitarist and founding member Ted Feldman. Along with vocals from Rau, Bear Hands also features Val Loper on bass and TJ Orscher on drums.

Bear Hands continue their nationwide tour this month, including a headlining show at New York’s Mercury Lounge on Monday followed by a Tuesday night concert at the Barclays Center with Twenty One Pilots, whom they share the stage with for the remainder of their tour dates in June.
