Brent and Katelyn Hatley Reject an Idea for a Stern Show Bit Involving ‘the Jackhammer’

The controversy of Stern Show staffer Brent Hatley and wife Katelyn’s swinging lifestyle continued on Monday when the pair strongly objected to Mrs. Hatley appearing on the show in a “Hollywood Squares” parody with her one-time lover, a porn star who goes by “the Jackhammer.”

“Somebody has a great idea to the point that I go, ‘We’re doing [Hollyweird] Squares for Christmas’ because … Brent’s wife Katelyn would be the center square, except she would be a couple with the Jackhammer,” Howard explained, going as far as to call the bit “brilliant.”

Brent, on the other hand, didn’t seem to agree.

“Brent blew a shit fit,” Howard reported on his staffer’s reaction during a staff meeting. “I was shocked he would give a fuck.”

Having the Jackhammer on Hollyweird Squares would be “way over the line,” Brent explained. “It would be terrible … my wife doesn’t want to get up there and have you paint her as she doesn’t love her husband.”

“I would never paint her that way,” Howard insisted.

Katelyn, for her part, called in to defend their stance on the subject. “There’s such a difference between having sex and hanging out with somebody,” she said. “I don’t even want to hang out afterwards, I just like to have sex and be done.”

Still, Howard and other staff members just couldn’t quite wrap their heads around it. “I thought it would have been an interesting sort of segment visually and also to hear what you guys had to say,” a baffled Howard said.
