VIDEO: David Letterman’s New Netflix Show to Welcome Howard Stern, Barack Obama, and Tina Fey as Guests
Late-night legend’s 6-episode, monthly series debuts Jan. 12
January 5, 2018David Letterman has officially come out of retirement, and now there’s video to prove it.
Netflix dropped the trailer for “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” the late-night legend’s previously announced six-episode series premiering Jan. 12 and airing new monthly episodes through June.
Almost as impressive as Letterman’s return to TV is his announced lineup of guests, including former President Barack Obama, actor George Clooney, rapper Jay-Z, comedian Tina Fey, and Nobel Prize-winning activist Malala Yousafzai—not to mention the King of All Media himself.

This of course won’t be Howard’s first sit-down with the prolific talk-show host. The two have interviewed each other numerous times over the years, most recently in August when Dave visited the Stern Show studio to discuss everything from his “Late Show” legacy and short-lived retirement to what fans can expect from his then-untitled Netflix series.
It was during that conversation Howard agreed to be on Dave’s upcoming show, which Dave said he hoped would be a success. “I think it’s gonna be great and it’ll probably be the last thing I do, so I want it to be great,” he told Howard.
