VIDEO: Tan Mom Adopts an Australian Accent and Poses as Nicole Kidman in New Prank
Stern Show staffers Sal Governale and Richard Christy convince the Wack Packer she’s meeting one of the Oscar winner’s young fans
Celebrity impressions aren’t easy to pull off but don’t tell Tan Mom that. The Wack Packer was recently convinced by Stern Show staffers Sal Governale and Richard Christy that they were in a pinch after promising a sick 12-year-old he could meet Nicole Kidman. But since they couldn’t get the real A-list actress to come up to the studio, they told Tan Mom she needed to pose as Nicole instead. Not only did she oblige, she also tried her hardest at putting on an Australian accent.
“Let’s rehearse it,” Sal tells Tan Mom in the video (above) before bringing in Ms. Kidman’s young admirer, played by Stern Show staffer Chris Wilding.
“If you see Chris, he does not look like he’s 12,” Howard said. “We never thought this would work.”
But it did! Not only did Tan Mom stay in character while interacting with a coughing Chris, she offered to donate her own blood to him. “Just hang in there,” she told him. “Now go get some rest and smile.”
“What kind of accent is that?” Robin Quivers said with a laugh after hearing audio of Tan Mom’s impression. “It sounds Eastern European.”
Sal eventually came clean and told Tan Mom it was all a prank but commended her on her acting skills that can only be described as one-of-a-kind.
“I love her. She’s the best,” Howard said.
