VIDEO: Michael Fassbender Hunts a Killer in Chilling ‘Snowman’ Trailer
Val Kilmer, Rebecca Ferguson, and J.K. Simmons co-star in the upcoming crime thriller

A serial killer hunts women in the dead of winter in the debut trailer for “The Snowman,” an upcoming crime thriller starring Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, and Val Kilmer.
The story follows detective Harry Hole (Fassbender), the protagonist in a series of crime novels from Norwegian author Jo Nesbø. In this tale, he tracks a murderer whose hobbies include building snowmen to leave at crime scenes after decapitating his victims. Of course, a serial killer should be no trouble for Fassbender, who fought mutants as Magneto in “X-Men,” took on Nazis as a spy in “Inglourious Basterds,” and tamed aliens as a robot in “Alien: Covenant.”
Tomas Alfredson directed the film, which also stars Chloë Sevigny, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Stern Show guest and Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons.
“The Snowman” hits theaters Oct. 20. Check out the chilling trailer (above).
