Ike Barinholtz, John Cena, and Leslie Mann are parents who would do pretty much anything to prevent their teenage daughters from losing their virginity in “Blockers,” a raunchy comedy from Universal Pictures and co-producer Seth Rogen.
The newly released red band trailer (above) starts off innocently enough with the parents reminiscing about how quickly their little girls have grown up. but before long they learn their daughters have entered into a sex pact and plan to lose their virginities on prom night.
Mann and Stern Show veterans Barinholtz and Cena aren’t having it, so they concoct a plan: “Let’s cock block those motherfuckers,” Mann’s character tells them.
It won’t be easy, however. In one sequence, Cena proves he would do anything for his daughter by butt-chugging a beer. Needless to say, the shit (covered beer) hits the superfan after the cops arrive and Barinholtz gets treated to a mouthful of butt beer.
As previously learned, Barinholtz broke his neck while filming a stunt on the set of “Blockers”—then called “The Pact”—leaving him wearing a brace while shooting the final season of Hulu’s “The Mindy Project.” When the actor and Stern Show superfan sat down with Howard earlier this year, he spoke all about working with Mindy Kaling, even revealing he had given her an edible on set—listen to the full interview here.
