VIDEO: Lady Gaga Delivers Surprise Hurricane Benefit Performance
Musician and Stern Show guest also shares the stage with all five living former U.S. Presidents

Lady Gaga stunned fans and even wowed past presidents in Texas on Saturday with a surprise performance at “Deep From the Heart: One America Appeal,” a hurricane relief concert to benefit the emotionally traumatized victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
In addition to performing three songs (beginning at around the 1:50:30 mark above) and delivering an impassioned speech about mental health, the music icon and repeat Stern Show guest revealed she had donated $1 million to the charity.
“We must also recover mentally, as well as physically,” she explained while playing the opening bars to one of her songs. “We need to help these survivors recover from the trauma of losing their homes, losing their lives, watching everything get washed away.”
Gaga, who performed a touching solo rendition of “Million Reasons” as well as “You And I” and “The Edge of Glory,” also took time to recognize Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter—a.k.a all five living former U.S. Presidents—who attended the charitable event together. She even posed with them for a remarkable Twitter photo (below).

Gaga, who also performed “Million Reasons” for the Stern Show back in 2016, wasn’t the benefit concert’s only marquee musician. Other performers included Sam Moore, Yolanda Adams, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, and the band Alabama.
