VIDEO: Craig Ferguson Tackles Sobriety and Social Media in ‘Tickle Fight’ Trailer
Recent Stern Show guest’s stand-up special hits Netflix on Dec. 5
November 29, 2017Craig Ferguson tackles sobriety, social media, and, well, “ass lumps” in the official trailer for his upcoming stand-up special “Tickle Fight,” hitting Netflix in early December.
“If you’ve ever seen me before, you’ll know that you’re in for an evening of crushing disappointment,” he jokes toward the beginning of the short teaser (above).
The comedian, Emmy-winning TV star, and recent Stern Show guest seems to get candid about a variety of subjects during the set, filmed at the 2017 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, including everything from drinking tequila for breakfast to texting butt pictures to doctors.
Of course, anyone who heard Craig’s visit to the Stern Show in March knows the entertainer is an open book, even when it comes to discussing past struggles with alcohol. He even shared a story about once trying to get drunk on aftershave.
“I remember sitting in a disused fountain in a park in Glasgow, sitting with a hobo. He said, ‘You want to try aftershave?’ I went, ‘Fuck it! OK! Let’s try it!'” Craig told Howard. “That must have been 35 years ago, I’ve been sober 25 years, a lot of things have happened, but I can still taste that aftershave … the taste is so utterly revolting. I mean, it’s unbelievably bad.”
