“Stranger Things,” an ‘80s set, science fiction-horror show, follows a telekinetically powered girl named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and her young friends as they fight trans-dimensional baddies invading a small Indiana town.
The series, co-created by the Duffer brothers and starring Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, and David Harbour, has been greenlit for Season 3.
“Mindhunter,” a crime drama produced by David Fincher (“Se7en”) and recent Stern Show guest Charlize Theron, explores the real-life origins of the FBI’s serial killer unit.
The show, which premiered in October, stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv as the FBI agents and psychology professors interested in tapping into the minds of several high-profile criminals, including infamous real-life killers Edmund Kemper and Richard Speck. It has been renewed for Season 2.
