VIDEO: Foo Fighters Deck the ‘Saturday Night Live’ Halls With a Rockin’ Christmas Medley
Grammy-winning musicians also perform hit single “The Sky Is a Neighborhood”

Foo Fighters fans who tuned in for “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend witnessed something close to a holiday miracle. In addition to performing their recent hit single “The Sky Is a Neighborhood,” the Grammy-winning act ended the night with a surprise Christmas medley.
It began with fellow Stern Show veteran Alec Baldwin, one of the night’s featured guests, introducing them for the second time during Saturday night’s Kevin Hart-hosted episode. But when the cameras cut to the stage the only band member visible was Dave Grohl, who was holding his guitar and had changed into a red holiday sweater.
The band’s frontman broke into a low-fi, solo version of Foo Fighters’ enduring hit “Everlong,” which the longtime Stern Show guest has performed for Howard several times over the years. During the song’s first chorus, however, green and red lights kicked on behind Dave and his whole band was there to perform a Christmas medley which included parts of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “Linus and Lucy” from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
