Show Rundown: May 20, 2019

Good Morning Everybody!

Despite having to wake up early for Monday’s Stern Show, both Howard and Robin joined the millions of viewers tuning into the highly anticipated “Game of Thrones” series finale.

“I woke up at about 4 to watch it,” Howard told his co-host, adding he thought criticisms of the episode seemed overblown. “What ending would’ve satisfied you?” he asked.

“Game of Thrones” enthusiast Jon Hein said he was content with how the story concluded and thought a lot of loose ends were tied up.

“I thought it was good, not great,” he said. “I think they did a couple things very, very well and a couple things not so well. But overall, I thought it was alright.”

Plot lines aside, most everyone in the office agreed Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister on the show, was a highlight of both the episode and the show at large.
