Bradley Cooper drops by ahead of the release of his new film Burnt, plus David Arquette calls in
Good Morning Everybody
To start off the morning, Howard recounted what happened when some of the guys went down to a notorious heavy metal bar called Duff’s in Brooklyn where the owner agreed to play “I’ll Suck Your Ween,” (our stellar parody of Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?”) on repeat to see how the crowd would react. Needless to say, people were not pleased. One person even vowed to never return, so to the owner of that bar, we thank you for playing along.
In other music news, DJ Meg Griffin was on the Wrap Up Show recently and Howard was surprised by how brutal she was in her recollection of their early days together at WRNW in Briarcliff Manor, New York. “Howard didn’t live the music lifestyle,” she told Gary and Jon Hein while assuring them that at that point, the King of All Media was really as bad as he remembers on the radio, initially.
Despite the fact that she summed him up as “lame,” Howard told listeners that this was exactly why he loved her. He admitted that for him, the records were “inconsequential,” in his opinion. “I’m the Beatles and the Beatles are filler.”
More Highlights From The Morning
Robin, Gary, and Howard agreed that the last episode of “The Walking Dead” was possibly the best one yet. Meanwhile the back office tried to hide from Robin’s spoilers.
Robin badgered Dr. Drew on the Wrap Up Show the other day to say that Howard was more crazy than she was. Though he did, Gary said “he was a little afraid; you could tell.”
Also on the Wrap Up Show recently, Michael Rapaport absolutely slammed Gary after discovering that Baba Booey not only blew his first pitch for the Mets years ago, but also failed on Kimmel later.
