On Friday the porn site CamSoda launched a virtual on-demand blowjob marketplace called BlowCast.
Marketed as the “iTunes of blow jobs,” BlowCast essentially combines virtual reality sex with internet-connected dildos. It allows users to purchase simulated blow jobs from a variety of cam girls performing fellatio on an electronic vibrating dildo called a Kiiroo Pearl. The dildo has been “hacked” to allow CamSoda to collect sensory data while the BJ is being performed. Using the magic of technology, the data is then sent to and stored in the BlowCast database.
For customers looking to receive the experience, it works like this: A guy sticks his manhood into a high-tech version of a Fleshlight (referred to as a “sleeve”), he selects a BlowCast cam girl who catches his eye (or has high customer ratings), and then he gets his groove on inside the electronic sleeve while simultaneously watching a video feed of the girl going to town. According to CamSoda, it will approximate the experience of getting a blow job from the woman selected. However, at least one reporter who has tried it has reported that the experience is underwhelming.
