VIDEO: There’s a Non-Profit Giving Hand Jobs to the Severely Disabled
Volunteers at Hand Angel, a Taiwanese NGO, hope to promote the sexual rights of physically disabled individuals

There’s a Taiwanese volunteer group called Hand Angel offering hand jobs to the severely disabled, according to an article published by Vice in 2015. The non-government organization hopes to promote the sexual rights of physically disabled people in Taiwan.
Volunteers lending a hand, so to speak, said the manual stimulation they provide helps raise awareness for the sexual rights of physically disabled individuals. They said the folks Hand Angel services are often sexually neglected in Taiwan, despite being filled with the same type of sexual desires as everyone else.
How does Hand Angel work? Well, first a physically disabled person must apply for the NGO’s services, which are 100 percent free. Then Hand Angel looks into the applicants background, assessing their level of disability and ensuring that they’re not mentally disabled. If the applicant passes muster, a Hand Angel volunteer will provide sexual services—which may include kissing, hugging, and caressing the face as well as tugging genitalia with the hands, but nothing penetrative (including fingering and oral, vaginal, or anal sex). However, a physically disabled applicant is only eligible to receive Hand Angel’s services a total of three times.
The volunteers, meanwhile, come from a variety of backgrounds—gay, straight, disabled, non-disabled, doctors, social workers, and more. In addition to providing a sexual service, they are hoping to help bring about emotional and social transformation in their disabled applicants.
