Chris Stapleton’s ‘From A Room: Volume 2’ Gets December Release Date
Grammy-winning country artist made his Stern Show debut in May
October 17, 2017Christmas is coming a few weeks early this year for country music fans.
Chris Stapleton plans to release his new album “From A Room: Volume 2” in early December. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter announced the news during a recent sold-out concert, according to Rolling Stone.
As Stern Show listeners may remember, Chris released the first chart-topping album in the series—“From A Room: Volume 1”—in early May, just a few days before sitting down with Howard to discuss his life, music, and recording process. He explained his “From A Room” albums are named after RCA Studio A in Nashville, where he and producer Dave Cobb recorded all the songs and where Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and even Elvis Presley had laid down tracks in years prior.
“There’s a lot of history in that room,” Chris told Howard. “It certainly inspires me.”
In addition to a wide-ranging interview, Chris’s Stern Show debut included an acoustic rendition of his hit “Broken Halos.” Check it out for yourself (below):
