VIDEO: Larry David Makes Things Awkward With Miley Cyrus in ‘Saturday Night Live’ Promo
Stern Show guests to co-headline Nov. 4 episode of NBC sketch-comedy series
November 2, 2017Larry David has a penchant for creating awkward moments on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and the latest promo for this weekend’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” shows him returning to form.
The spot (above) begins as Larry, this Saturday’s host, runs into co-headliner (and fellow Stern Show guest) Miley Cyrus in the lobby of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where NBC’s long-running sketch comedy series is filmed.
“What are you doing here?” Larry asks.
“I’m on ‘SNL’ this week,” she responds. “I’m the musical guest.”
Their interaction goes swimmingly until Larry balks at Miley’s offer to share an elevator. “I’ll go up alone,” he says, waving her off. “I like a private ride.”
“Whatever, Larry,” she responds.
Miley joins “SNL” on the heels of releasing her latest album, “Younger Now,” which she discussed at great length with Howard in October during her Stern Show debut. The pop superstar also put on a mini-concert for Stern Show listeners, performing several of her biggest hits—including “Party in the U.S.A.,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “The Climb”—as well as covering the late Tom Petty’s classic tune “Wildflowers.”

See Larry and Miley on “Saturday Night Live” this Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
