Those tuned in to the Tuesday night season finale of “This Is Us” were also treated to the debut of a trailer for a new film from the series’ creator.
“Life, Itself,” directed and written by Dan Fogelman, centers on a couple portrayed by Oscar Isaac and Olivia Wilde “that lead a multi generational love story spanning both decades and continents, from the streets of New York to the Spanish countryside, and are all connected by a single event.”
Stern Show fans are familiar with Wilde, who sat down with Howard in 2016 and talked all about auditioning for “The Wolf of Wall Street,” presenting at the Oscars with Ali G, and how she met her fiancé Jason Sudeikis. See highlights from her interview here.

“Life Itself” is due out for release in the fall of 2018.
