VIDEO: Will Arnett’s BoJack Horseman Has a New Job But the Same Old Problems in Season 5 Trailer
Netflix’s adult animated comedy series rides again on Sept. 14
September 4, 2018Hollywood’s (or Hollywoo’s) hottest anthropomorphic horse has landed a brand-new TV show on Season 5 of “BoJack Horseman,” Netflix’s adult animated comedy series about the life and struggles of a down-and-out equine actor.
“Arrested Development” star and past Stern Show guest Will Arnett returns to once again voice BoJack, who according to the trailer (above) now has a starring role on the hit TV drama “Philbert.” Despite his return to the spotlight, however, BoJack continues spending, drinking, arguing, and wallowing in despair—much to the chagrin of his human friend Diane, voiced by “Glow’s” Alison Brie.
“You say you want to get better and you don’t know how,” she tells him multiple times (above).
“I’m not someone therapy works on,” BoJack responds. “I might be too smart.”
“[Season 5 forces] BoJack to confront himself and his past in ways large and small, but the main thing that happens this season is Diane gets a haircut,” series creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg explained in a statement. “We spent a lot of time figuring out the haircut – the style, the volume, the bounce, the sheen – and we’re really proud of the way it came out.”
“BoJack Horseman” co-stars Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tompkins, and Aaron Paul. Season 5 debuts Sept. 14 on Netflix. Watch the official trailer (above).
