VIDEO: Drew Barrymore Craves Excitement and Also Human Flesh in ‘Santa Clarita Diet’ Season 2 Trailer

Drew Barrymore hungers for adventure, excitement, and the taste of human flesh in the official trailer for Season 2 of Netflix’s zombie comedy “Santa Clarita Diet.”

The newly released clip (above) shows her zombified character Sheila struggling to balance her familial obligations and professional aspirations with an overwhelming desire to devour her friends and neighbors.

“I want to shake shit up, dream big. I don’t want to stop living just because I’m undead,” she tells her husband Joel (Timothy Olyphant).

As if Shiela needed any more on her plate, the zombie virus appears to be spreading throughout their otherwise idyllic neighborhood. Suddenly everyone is in danger, from their daughter Abby (Liv Hewson) to a supporting cast of recurring characters, including those played by Stern Show veteran Joel McHale and verifiable superfan Andy Richter.

Drew, of course, made her memorable Stern Show debut in 2015. In addition to discussing her chemistry with David Letterman and what it was like to host “Saturday Night Live” at the age of 7, the award-winning actress spoke quite fondly of Howard (below).
