VIDEO: Alec Baldwin, Ellen DeGeneres, Dana Carvey, and Tracy Morgan Join Jerry Seinfeld in Freshly Brewed ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ Trailer
Season 10 of the Stern Show guest’s short-form series debuts July 6 on Netflix
June 20, 2018Netflix just served up a piping-hot first sip of next month’s new season of Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee.”
The Season 10 trailer (above) plays up the interview series’ short length in a black-and-white intro co-starring Matthew Broderick. “Don’t you have enough to keep track of without trying to remember who’s a wizard, who’s a machine, who’s a zombie?” Jerry asks the audience (above). “We at ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ think your time is valuable.”
The clip then features a lightning-fast montage of the “entire new season” and a look at all of Jerry’s upcoming passengers, including fellow Stern Show veterans Ellen DeGeneres, Tracy Morgan, Dave Chappelle, Dana Carvey, and Alec Baldwin, among others.
Jerry actually debuted part of his Season 10 guest list when visiting the Stern Show last September, revealing he’d soon be taking a ride with Chappelle, Oscar-winner Tom Hanks, and Emmy-winning “Saturday Night Live” standout Kate McKinnon.
He also admitted the real reason he created a 15-minute-long interview series: as a family man, his schedule had grown tighter. “When you’re married and you have three kids you can’t meet people for lunch anymore. You don’t have time for lunch. But you can meet for coffee,” Jerry told Howard with a laugh. “I don’t want to sit down and have a whole meal with you. I don’t have time.”
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Season 10, also featuring Zach Galifianakis, John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj, and the late Jerry Lewis, premieres July 6 on Netflix. Watch the official trailer above and check out more from Jerry’s latest sit-down with Howard here.
