VIDEO: Bruce Willis Teams Up With Frank Grillo to Take Down a Bank Robber in Explosive ‘Reprisal’ Trailer

Action icon and past Stern Show guest Bruce Willis stars as an ex-cop named James who will do anything to catch a serial bank robber in the explosive trailer for the summer crime thriller “Reprisal.”

The clip (above) begins with a backyard conversation between James and his bank managing neighbor Jacob (“Captain America: Civil War” villain Frank Grillo). After Jacob shares a story of a haunting heist which resulted in the death of one of his co-workers, James decides the two should work together to solve the case and put the bank robber behind bars.

The stakes are raised after the criminal they’re tracking (“Legends of Tomorrow’s” Johnathon Schaech) kidnaps Jacob’s wife, played by Olivia Culpo who recently starred opposite Amy Schumer in “I Feel Pretty.” James and Jacob stage a counterattack of sorts and the situation soon devolves into violent chaos complete with gunfire, police chases, armed robberies, and Bruce taking on a familiar role as a gun-toting, wise-cracking, nigh-invulnerable action hero.

“Reprisal,” directed by Brian A. Miller and written by Bryce Hammons, debuts Aug. 31 in theaters and on demand. Watch the official trailer (above).
