VIDEO: Danny Rand Faces a Familiar Foe With Similar Powers in ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 Trailer
Marvel superhero series returns to Netflix on Sept. 7

It looks like New York City is getting double fisted in the new trailer for “Marvel’s Iron Fist,” punching its way back onto Netflix in September.
While the show’s debut season focused on billionaire and burgeoning crimefighter Danny Rand’s (Finn Jones) return to the Big Apple, the newly released Season 2 trailer (above) suggests his next major foe might actually be an old friend named Davos (Sacha Dhawan), whom Danny trained with back in the mystical land of K’un-Lun and now somehow seems to have acquired an “iron” fist of his own.
Previous promos hinted Danny might don a classic, comic-book inspired look and this new trailer features even more footage of the martial arts master sparring in his iconic yellow mask. It also teases key developments with his sidekicks, love interest Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and the one-armed detective Misty Knight (Simone Missick), the latter of who has also appeared on two of Netflix’s other Marvel-inspired shows, “Luke Cage” and “The Defenders.”
“Marvel’s Iron Fist,” also starring Alice Eve and Jessica Stroup, returns Sept. 7 to Netflix. Watch the Season 2 trailer (above).
