VIDEO: First Teaser for Adam Sandler's Netflix Comedy Special '100% Fresh'

The Sand-man is back.

Netflix has dropped a short teaser and date announcement for Adam Sandler’s upcoming comedy special “100% Fresh”—the actor, recording artist, “Saturday Night Live” veteran, and repeat Stern Show guest’s first stand-up event in over 20 years.

Filmed earlier this year in Austin and directed by Adam’s “Little Nicky” collaborator Steven Brill, the special will debut on Oct. 23. While the teaser (above) doesn’t give away any jokes, it does offer quick flashes of Adam, the stages he will be performing on, and the keyboard and guitars he may be using.

In recent years, Sandler has found quite a bit of success with his Netflix films, like “The Ridiculous Six,” “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Collected),” and “The Week Of,” featuring Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund. But Adam’s first big taste of fame came in the early 1990s with a multi-platinum album and a memorable “SNL” run, both of which heavily incorporated his knack for musical comedy.
