VIDEO: Do Gary Dell’Abate and Jason Kaplan Get Along?

Do they, or don’t they?

After years of working together and with many documented clashes – including the infamous plantain chip incident – a caller Tueday morning wanted to know if Gary Dell’Abate and Jason Kaplan actuget along.

“Jason and I really do like each other but we do get on each other’s nerves,” Gary observed of their relationship. “He is very opinionated and I know a lot of people gave me shit for being the last one to figure out that if Jason has the chance, he will throw you under the bus.”

“I will go on record to say two things can be true,” Jason responded before going into their dynamic. “I love Gary truly honestly like a second father and I also get super annoyed by him a lot and super frustrated by him a lot and that builds up and then boils over.”

As far as the plantain chip episode – which consisted of Jason outing Gary for keeping a large container of the snack in his office – it’s been nearly two years and it’s still a sore spot for the duo. “The plantains were on his desk, the door was open, and we work in a live studio,” Jason reasoned. “You have a camera in there, you have lights in there, you have plantain chips on your desk, you’re falling asleep – we have to see what’s going on.”
