When asked about what he’d choose if he were given superpowers, Stern Show staffer JD Harmeyer gave some unusual answers. “I guess like invincibility?” he noted in a clip heard Tuesday morning. “You know, no sickness or whatever. I just wouldn’t be afraid of the world … I wouldn’t be afraid of anything.”
“I think he means invulnerable,” Howard said, seemingly underwhelmed with his staffer’s selection. “What the fuck is invincible? Wouldn’t you want to fly or like have heat vision?”
JD’s other idea for a superpower—invisibility so he could go undetected at high-powered meetings—didn’t go over so well either. “You could do that now, nobody’d know you’re there,” co-host Robin Quivers teased. “You’ve got that superpower down.”
“You need a simple superpower, like how to talk without mumbling,” Howard also joked.
“I don’t know … I don’t think these things through all the time,” the staffer concurred.
