If Ronnie Were to Die These 2 Stern Show Staffers Admit They’d Put the Moves on His Fiancée
“Sit on my lap, you’re probably exhausted from all the planning for the shiva and the funeral and everything,” one staffer tells “Stephanie” during mock funeral
June 30, 2021If Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund were to suddenly meet his demise, at least two fellow Stern Show staffers would be willing to step into his shoes when it comes to consoling his fiancée Stephanie—Benjy Bronk and Mike Pearlman. In a mock scenario heard Wednesday morning in which a distraught “Stephanie” made passes at Ronnie’s co-workers, almost everyone from Richard Christy to Fred Norris knew to steer clear—but Benjy went another route.
“It feels good … so hot,” he told the pretend “Stephanie”during the bit before reassuring Ronnie that logistics would most likely prevent such an event from ever occurring. “The chances I’ll even be in Vegas for this [are] not good.”
“Even Sal [Governale] knows not to do that,” co-host Robin Quivers said in disbelief.
Mike Pearlman—who Ronnie once accused of tampering with his bagel—was also willing to step in. “Sit on my lap, you’re probably exhausted from all the planning for the shiva and the funeral and everything,” he said before later trying to explain his actions. “Me and Ronnie kind of have a lot in common—I think he’d be okay with me doing that in comparison to anybody else.”
As for Ronnie, he didn’t think Stephanie would be okay with either option. “She couldn’t deal with all of Benjy’s shtick … she’d never put up with that crap,” he revealed before noting it was Mike’s perceived playboy status that would do him in. “It would be slam, bam, thank you, ma’am.”
