Ben Affleck watches on while his wife beds different lovers in the sizzling trailer for “Deep Water,” debuting March 18 on Hulu.
The steamy psychological thriller tracks the loveless marriage of Vic (Affleck) and Melinda Van Allen (“Knives Out” star Ana de Armas), whose unconventional relationship brims with mind games, deceit, and adultery. As tensions reach a boiling point, one of her suitors is found floating face-down in the pool.
“She’s different. That’s what I like about her,” Affleck’s character insists.
Directed by Adrian Lyne (“Fatal Attraction”) and based on a Patricia Highsmith mystery novel, “Deep Water” co-stars Rachel Blanchard, Lil Rel Howery, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elordi, Dash Mihok, and Tracy Letts. The trailer arrives a few months after Affleck sat down with Howard and opened up about everything from his big-screen comeback to what went wrong with his real-life romance with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
