VIDEO: Howard Reacts to Johnny Depp’s Testimony Against Ex-Wife Amber Heard

After unsuccessfully suing British tabloid The Sun over claims about his marriage to ex-wife Amber Heard, actor Johnny Depp is back in court, this time going after Heard. On Monday, Howard and co-host Robin Quivers were taken aback by the televised hearing. “I was completely unaware of how entertaining the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial is,” Howard admitted.

“I wish I had watched the first season,” Robin added, hinting at the initial case in London.

Just one of the things the ex-couple differs on is who was responsible for feces found in their bed—their dogs or, as Depp claims, his former wife. “There’s nothing funnier than this,” Howard noted, before addressing the actor appearing to struggle discussing the rather delicate subject. “If you notice, he takes huge dramatic pauses, especially when he’s about to mention dog poop, like it’s just too much.”

“All I kept thinking was … Lucy and Desi never thought of these scenarios,” Robin said in reference to the “I Love Lucy” couple after hearing the testimony. “It was never shit in the bed.”

Howard continued to be blown away by Depp’s testimony. “If I was auditioning for ‘Saturday Night Live,’ this would be my monologue,” he revealed before objecting to when the actor referred to defecating as “dropping a grumpy.” “How dare you … that’s not even a term.”
