VIDEO: Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden Play Super Spies Getting Super Steamy in ‘Citadel’

“Matrix: Resurrections” star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and “Game of Thrones” veteran Richard Madden join forces to bring down an international conspiracy in the new trailer for “Citadel,” a format-bending spy series from “Avengers: Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
The action-packed series follows Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas), two retired super spies who get called back into action after their handler (Stanley Tucci) learns of a global threat. “Eight years ago, you two were Citadel’s top spies, but we were double-crossed by one of your own and your memories were erased,” Tucci’s character tells them (above).
“Were we together?” Madden asks Chopra Jonas over a montage of car chases, hand-to-hand combat, and steamy love scenes.
“Don’t flatter yourself,” she responds.
Created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh with the Russo brothers serving as executive producers, the Amazon Prime Video series co-stars Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, and Roland Møller. With “Citadel,” the streamer is also launching its new spy universe, featuring multiple spin-offs set in India, Italy, and Mexico.
“Citadel” premieres April 28 on Amazon Prime Video.
