If you’ve ever watched old reruns of the Canadian “Match Game” and swore you saw Chris Wilding, your eyes were not deceiving you. On Wednesday, Howard played audio of the Stern Show staffer’s appearance on the show from several years ago.
From the jump, Chris seemed quite comfortable in the role, cracking jokes about watching the genre with his grandmother, who was in the audience. “She always had the game show channel on, so I’ve seen the same old woman win the same old couch about a thousand times,” he told the host.
The binging paid off, as Chris wound up winning what he guessed was around $3,000 in U.S. dollars. “My final match was with Scott Thompson from ‘The Kids in the Hall’ and it was black blank,” he said of his last clue. “I put jack and he put jack, so I won.”
