VIDEO: Howard Reacts to ‘Private Parts’ Co-Star Paul Giamatti’s Golden Globes Shout-Out
“If I ever do another movie, boy I would want him in it,” the King of All Media responds
January 9, 2024After winning a Golden Globe on Sunday for his performance in “The Holdovers,” acclaimed actor and past Stern Show guest Paul Giamatti gave a special shout-out to his “Private Parts” co-star Howard Stern. He told reporters he loved Howard and owed him “everything” for helping him catch his big break in Hollywood. He also revealed he’d work alongside the King of All Media again in a “heartbeat”—perhaps this time in a horror film.
After listening to Paul’s gracious statement Tuesday morning, Howard offered up some kind words of his own for Paul, who he insisted owed him nothing. “He was great in the movie ‘Private Parts’ … and because I was new to film acting I didn’t even realize how good the guy was. When I would watch [our] scenes back, I went ‘Oh my God, look what he’s doing there. He’s so in the character and he’s so good,’” Howard said, adding, “He made my job easy.”
“He was perfect in it,” fellow “Private Parts” star Robin Quivers agreed.
“He was just a wonderful moment in my life,” Howard concluded. “So, if I ever do another movie, boy I would want him in it.”
